ATTACHING THE LIGHT KIT (continued)
Step 2. Hold the light kit close to the light kit housing. (Fig. 25)
Connect the WHITE wire from the light kit to the WHITE wire from the fan
by pushing the wire connectors together.
Connect the BLACK wire from the light kit to the BLACK wire from the fan
by pushing the wire connectors together.
Step 3. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the light kit housing. Place the
key hole slots in the light kit over the 2 light kit housing screws that were
loosened from the light kit housing. Rotate the light kit (clockwise) until it locks
in place against the light kit housing screws at the narrow ends of the key
hole slots.
Align the remaining hole in the light kit with the remaining hole in the light kit
housing. Install the light kit housing screw that was removed from the light
kit housing into the aligned holes. Tighten all 3 light kit housing screws to secure
the light kit in place. (Fig. 25)
Step 1. Remove one of the light kit housing screws from the outer edge of
the light kit housing. Retain light kit housing screw. Loosen the other two
light kit housing screws (do not remove). (Fig. 24)
