CAUTION: Before continuing installation, confirm that the
power is still turned o at the main circuit breaker or by
removing the circuit fuse. Turning the power o using a wall
switch is not sucient to prevent electrical shock.
NOTE: If installing the light kit instead of the decorative cap, skip ahead to
the "ATTACHING THE LIGHT KIT" instructions on the next page.
Step 1. Remove the three mounting plate screws from the mounting plate.
Retain mounting plate screws. (Fig.19)
Step 2. Raise the wire cover to the mounting plate.
NOTE: Make sure that all wires protruding from the center of the mounting
plate are inside of the wire cover.
Align the holes in the wire cover with the holes in the mounting plate, then
install the three mounting plate screws that were removed from the
mounting pate into the aligned holes. Tighten all 3 mounting plate screws
to secure the wire cover in place. (Fig. 20)
Step 3. Place the decorative cap over the wire cover and twist the
decorative cap (clockwise) to secure the decorative cap to the wire
cover. (Fig. 21)
