Conguration of the multiple
line system
A multiple line system comprises
individual lines which are linked
together by two cores. The lines are
connected at the bus line rectier
using terminals Sa and Sb. In mul-
tiple line systems, door calls and
control functions are possible from
one line to another.
Differentiation between
line 1 and line 2 …
The lines are consecutively num-
bered with the address switch
“Adr.” at the bus line rectier. Up
to 15lines can be connected via
the cores Sa and Sb. The bus supply
unit accessory ZBVG650-… must
be plugged into one of the bus line
rectiers within the overall system.
When installing, ensure that every
line is laid in its own cable.
Conductor length between
the lines
The admissible conductor lengths
within a line are identical to those in
a single line system. The conductor
length between the bus line recti-
ers must also be taken into consid-
eration. This may not be more than
300m between the most distant bus
line rectiers.
Functions applicable across
individual lines
Door calls, selective door dialling and
switching and control functions can
also be used across individual lines.
Internal speech communication and
call forwarding between users is only
possible within a line.
