AC Power
Power Requirements: The CENTIPEDE QUADRO has an external power supply
that requires 12.6V DC, 3 Amps, with a frequency of 50/60Hz.
To ensure proper power supply, refer to the current rating listed on the
product's back panel or consult the specifications chart. This rating indicates
the average current draw under standard operating conditions.
For accurate circuit breaker sizing, power outlet selection, and wiring
requirements, use the listed current value as a guideline. Consider any
additional factors, such as the number of fixtures in the installation and the overall
electrical load on the circuit.
Safety First: Always connect the product to a protected circuit equipped with a
circuit breaker or fuse. Ensure the product is grounded properly to minimize the risk
of electrical shock or fire.
Extend Product Life: To reduce unnecessary wear and extend the product's
lifespan, disconnect it completely from power—either by turning off the breaker,
unplugging it, or switching it off—during periods of non-use.
Safety Precautions
Protection Class 1: This fixture must be properly grounded. It contains no user-
serviceable parts. Attempting repairs yourself will void the manufacturer's warranty.
Modifying the fixture or ignoring the safety instructions and guidelines will also void
the warranty and exclude any warranty claims or repairs.
Environment: This fixture is designed for use in dry, indoor environments only. Do
not expose it to rain, or moisture.
Light Source: Never look directly into the light source, as it can cause retina injury
or blindness. Sensitive individuals may experience epileptic shock.
Temperature: The maximum ambient operating temperature is 140°F (60°C), the
minimum ambient operating temperature is 14°F (-10°C). Do not touch the fixture
housing during operation. Disconnect the power and allow approximately 15
minutes for the fixture to cool down before servicing.
Handling: Do not shake the fixture or use brute force when installing or operating it.
Power Cord: Do not operate the fixture if the power cord is frayed, crimped, or
damaged. Replace the power cord immediately if damaged, using one with the
same power rating. Do not remove or break off the ground prong from the electrical
cord, as it reduces the risk of electrical shock and fire in the event of an internal
short.
