Adjusting the Thread Cutter Switch Position

Placing the thread cutter switch to the left.

The thread cutter switch position can be adjusted for your

convenience.

If you wish to attach the thread cutter switch to the left

side of the foot control, follow the procedure below.

Remove the setscrews A, B and washers with a

screwdriver.

(1) Setscrew A

(2) Setscrew B

(3) Washer

Attach the foot control and thread cutter switch

with the setscrews and the washers. Tighten the

setscrews A and B. Be sure that the cable is not

caught between the foot control and the base plate.

Foot Control and Thread Cutter Switch

To attach the foot control and the thread cutter switch

to the base plate, tighten setscrews, and setscrews with

washers as shown.

(5) Setscrew B

NOTE:

A Phillips head screwdriver is not included with this

machine.

Turn the base plate 180 degrees.
