Before using the appliance for the first time, proceed as follows: carefully unpack the induction hob and remove all
packaging material. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. After unpacking the appliance,
carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport. Clean the glass plate with a slightly damp
cloth. Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. For the installation of the hob you
must observe the instructions in section 7.
SAFETY PROVISIONS
Pan detection function
Due to the pan detection function, the appliance does not work when using an unsuitable pan or when no pan is detected
ona cooking zone. The operation indicator shows U and the power level cannot be increased.
Residual heat indicator
The cooking zones remain hot after switching off the appliance. Touching a hot cooking zone may result in injury.
The operation indicator shows H to indicate that the cooking zone is hot. When the cooking zone has cooled down,
theoperation indicator no longer shows H.
