The control unit of the appliance is located on the outside.
• Insert the plug in the socket.
• The display lights up for 3 seconds. The default temperature setting is: -20°C.

Adjusting the temperature
In order to be able to operate the appliance, the control panel must be unlocked.
• Hold the key for 3 seconds to unlock; the display flashes.
• Press the
key to adjust the temperature. Each press of the key reduces the temperature by 1°C.
• When the display flashes, the set temperature will be confirmed automatically after 30 seconds and the control panel will
be locked. You can do this yourself as well, by pressing the key for 3 seconds.
Note:
All actions described below must be performed while the appliance is unlocked. If you try to operate while the appliance
is locked, the display will flash quickly for a few seconds and the action will be invalid.
Superfreeze function
Activating superfreeze:
• Press the key. The Superfreeze indicator lights up.
In case of a Celsius setting, the display shows -30; the compressor continues to run and the Celsius indicator lights up.
In case of a Fahrenheit setting, the display shows -22; the compressor continues to run and the Fahrenheit indicator
lights up.
Deactivating superfreeze:
After 40 hours the Superfreeze function switches off automatically. After that, the temperature is adjusted as follows:
a. If the set temperature prior to superfreeze was ≥ -11°C / 12°F, the appliance switches to the default temperature of
-20°C / -4°F.
b. If the temperature prior to Superfreeze was < -11°C / 12°F, the appliance switches back to the previously set temperature.
To switch off Superfreeze manually, press the key once more.
