USING THE BOOST FUNCTION
• The Boost function provides extra power and can be set for all zones.
• The maximum time of the Boost function is 10 minutes, then the power automatically drops back to the original setting.
Switching on the boost function
1. Briefly press the on/off key. The appliance switches on and a sound
signal can be heard. All displays show [ - ] and the induction hob
is stand-by.
2. Press B - boost. The display shows the marquee action.
Switching off the boost function
3. Press the slider control of the cooking zone of which you want
to switch off the boost function.
4. Select the required power with the slider control in order to
continue cooking without the boost function.
CAUTION:
• For the flex zone, the duration of the Boost function is 5 minutes maximum.
• When the Boost function of the 1st cooking zone is activated and the Boost function of a 2nd cooking zone is started,
the power of the 1st cooking zone is automatically changed to level 9 and vice versa.
• If the original setting is 0, the Boost function will go back to position 9.
USING THE FLEXIBLE ZONE
The flex zone can be used as one single large cooking zone or as two separate cooking zones.
a. The induction hob has two flexible zones, one on the left side and one on the right side.
b. The area consists of four individual coils that can be operated in a coupled condition and per two.
c. In order to ensure even distribution of heat and detection of the pan, the cookware must be placed correctly.
Switching on the flex zone as one large cooking zone
• Switch on the induction hob.
• Hold down the left or right key for the flexible zone
to couple the left or right cooking zones.
Both slider controls can be operated separately.
• Setting the power of the flexible zone takes place in the same way as for a single cooking zone.
