DRILLING IN THE WALL AND MOUNTING THE BRACKET
As a rst step, proceed according to the following drawings:
A vertical line up to the ceiling or to the upper limit, in the center of the area where the hood is to be ins-
talled.
A horizontal line A at 835-935 mm above the ceiling.
A horizontal line B at X above horizontal A.
A horizontal line C at 116 mm above horizontal A.
Marking the points
Mark a point 1 on horizontal line A, 80 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side, check that the two marks are level.
Mark a point 2 on the horizontal line B, 40 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side and on the vertical reference line, checking that all three marks
are level.
Mark a point 3 on the horizontal line C, 155 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
Repeat this operation on the other side, checking that the two marks are level.
Fixing the brackets (optional)
Drill at the marked points, using a 10 mm drill bit.
Insert the wall plugs 11, into the holes.
Fix a chimney xing bracket 21 with 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) on the horizontal line A.
Screw 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) into the wall plugs 11 on the horizontal line A; approximately four-fths of the
length of the screws 10 (5 x 50) are screwed into the wall plugs 11, used to x the hood.
