Use of the FREEZER
The freezer compartment is suitable for storing deep-frozen products, preparing and storing ice cubes
and freezing fresh food.
Note: Always make sure that the freezer door is closed and sealed completely. If it is not properly closed,
food may thaw. Heavy frost build-up occurs in the freezer compartment.
Maximum freezing capacity
The indications regarding the freezing capacity in 24 hours are given on the rating plate of the

Pay special attention:
• When shopping, remember that it is best to buy frozen food at the last minute. Try to transport them
directly home wrapped in an insulated bag. Once at home, you should immediately place them in
the freezer compartment.
• Try to place large quantities of food in the top drawer, as they freeze more quickly.
• Arrange the food with sufcient space between them to ensure proper air circulation.
• Frozen products must not come into contact with fresh food.
Installation of wheels (OPTIONAL)
Unplug the unit from the power supply and empty the contents before installing the casters.
Lock and secure the lid to prevent it from opening during installation of casters.
The unit is supplied with a kit for installing casters on the chest freezer basket. The casters make it easier
to move the unit to its nal location. The casters can be locked into place.
1. Move the freezer to a work area that provides sufcient clearance on all sides to allow for easy hand-
ling and access to the freezer.
2. Cover the oor area behind the freezer with protective material to prevent damage while it is resting
on its back during installation of the casters.
3. Remove the adjustable leveling feet already installed on the freezer by unscrewing them countercloc-
kwise, as they are not required when casters are used.
4. Remove the casters and screws from the caster kit. Part A casters are installed on the right front and
rear of the compressor of the unit. Part B casters are installed on the front left and rear of the unit (with
the brake lever facing outward). Align the wheel holes with the corresponding screw holes in the moun-
ting locations.

1. Once the casters are installed, with the help
of another person, carefully lift and rotate the
freezer to its upright position. Move the freezer
to the desired location and apply the brakes
on the 2 left caster wheels.
2. Wait a minimum of 2 hours before connec-
ting the freezer to a power source.
3. Charge the freezer once the desired opera-
ting temperature has been reached.
