Note: Inside the freezer circuit, water boils, gurgling sounds or slight vibrations
may occur as a result of the refrigerant owing through the refrigeration coils.
The thermostat control will turn on and off with a click.
Metal food basket
The freezer is equipped with a basket. The removable basket allows you to store
food in a more accessible way. You can remove it if it is not necessary.
Precautions for use
• The appliance may not operate steadily (there is a possibility that it may defrost or the temperature
may rise too high inside) if it is placed for a prolonged period of time below the cold limit of the cli-
matic range for which the appliance is designed.
• Information on the climate range can be found on the rating plate.
• The internal temperature may be affected by factors such as the location of the appliance, ambient
temperature, how often the door is opened, etc. The setting of any temperature control device may
have to be varied to take these factors into account.
• Effervescent beverages should not be stored in the freezer compartment (if present). Some products
such as ice cream should not be consumed too cold, as they may cause burns from direct cold con-
tact.
Defrost and drain
This freezer is designed for year-round use with minimal cleaning and
maintenance. We recommend that you do the following each time you
clean it to keep your freezer operating odor-free and efciently:
1. Turn off the freezer.
2. Remove food from the freezer and place it properly to prevent it from
melting.
3. Clean the drain line (use soft materials to avoid damage to the liner).
Prepare water containers for defrosting (pay attention to the water drain
pan in the compressor compartment, preventing it from overowing to
the oor).
4. You can use room temperature for natural defrosting, you can also
use a shovel to remove frost (use a plastic or wooden shovel to avoid
damaging the liner or piping).
5. Remove the drain plug from the inside of the appliance and the defrost drain plug from the outside.
The defrosted water will run out of the drain. Check the tray from time to time so that the water does not
overow. Replace the drain plugs when the process is nished.
6. You can also use an adequate amount of hot water to speed up defrosting, with a dry towel to wipe
off the water after defrosting.
7. Once defrosting is complete, place the food back inside the freezer and turn it on.
Note:
The equipment should operate continuously once started. In general, the operation of the equipment
should not be interrupted; otherwise, its service life may be affected.
