Cleaning the Lint Filter
1. To clean the lint lter, rst open the dryer door.
You will notice the built in lint lter at the base of the
opening, which can be easily lifted up.
2. Open up the lter gently, and using your hands, a soft
brush or a small vacuum remove the lint on the lters.
If the lint is particularly dusty, use water to help.
3. Take notice of the correct orientation of the lter
before reinserting. Ensure the lter is dry before
reinstalling.
WARNING: Lint accumulated on the lter will block
air circulation inside the dryer. Not cleaning the lter
regularly will increase the time it takes for clothes to dry,
and increase energy consumption. Clean the lter at
least once a week.
WARNING: Never operate without the lint lter
equipped.
Cleaning the Lower Filter
1. Open the service panel
2. Detach the clips holding the cover and remove
the cover
3. Remove the lower filter, clean it thoroughly and
replace filter
4. Replace the cover and fasten the clips
5. Close the service panel
Cleaning the Heat Exchanger
Every 6 months, lint from the heat exchanger must be
removed using a vacuum cleaner with a dusting brush
attached, using very little pressure. If the exchanger has
not been cleaned, it can eventually be damaged and the
appliance will not dry.
WARNING: Do not touch the heat exchanger directly
with your hands as it may cause injuries.
