u Reset the event history and the event counter via system commands.
6.8 Maximum value memory
VV devices have a maximum value memory for each process value, which can be read via IO-Link.
The maximum value memory can be reset if required.
If the measurement axis of a process value is changed during operation, the maximum value
memory is automatically reset.
The process value temperature also has a minimum value memory.
6.9 Characteristic value history
VVB3 devices offer a statistical characteristic value history of the last 9 days (= 800 entries), readable
via the IO-Link BLOB function (index 49 / -5004).
The history saves all characteristic values in an interval of 15 minutes as maximum, minimum and
mean values.
The time stamp corresponds to an internal counter that can be calculated back from the moment of
readout based on the measuring interval.

The characteristic values are saved in the RAM; if the sensor is not supplied with current, the
history values will be lost.
6.10 Machine operating time and switch-on operations
VV devices record the machine’s operating time (index 8003) and switch-on operations (index 8003)
via the process value v-RMS.
The threshold value for the operating time (mrcT) must be set.
