If [C.Loc] is displayed when an attempt is made to modify a parameter value via the keys,
parameter setting via IO-Link is active (temporary locking).
If [S.Loc] is displayed, the device is permanently locked via software. This locking can only be
removed using an IO-Link parameter setting software.
9.3 Parameter overview
9.3.1 Basic settings
Menu Description
[PrSC1] [PrSC1] Number of pulses per revolution. The process data value (PDV) in
the MDC is the input frequency divided by PrSC1.
The switching cams on the shaft must be arranged in a rotationally
symmetrical manner. The effect of this parameter is that the input
frequency is not averaged over one revolution.
If the input frequency is required as PDV, it is essential that PrSC1 =
1.
[uni] [uni] Switching of the unit of the process data value
[Hz] [Hz] Process data value in Hz (1/s)
[rpm] [rpm] Process data value in revolutions per minute (1/60 s)
[dST.M#] [dST.M#] Start-up delay time that affects the corresponding MDC.

The start-up delay dSt suppresses the output signal during the set time.
The start-up delay is active from the rising edge of the input signal. The input signal can come from
one of the 3 following signal sources. The dSt time runs from the falling edge. The dSt time also runs
automatically after power-on of the device if no signal is present at the following signal sources.
