4.7 Switching signal channels
The device has 4 switching signal channels (SSC). The switching signal channels are each assigned
to a counter module.
Each switching signal channel provides 2 switching signals. The switching signals can be output at the
output channels of ports X1...X4.
The switching signal channels can be operated as normally closed (low active) or normally open (high
active).
4.7.1 Deactivated mode
Can be combined with counter modules: CTU, CTD, CTUD, CTDIR
In the deactivated switch-point mode, the status of the counter module (main counter + batch counter)
has no effect on the switching signal output. The switching signal is permanently in the INACTIVE
state.

4.7.2 Single point mode
Can be combined with counter modules: CTU, CTD, CTUD, CTDIR
In single point mode, the user can define one setpoint (SP1). In the basic state, the switching signal is
not set (INACTIVE). As soon as the counter value reaches SP1, the switching signal is set (ACTIVE).
Subsequently, the switching signal is reset (INACTIVE).
The user can define whether the switching signal channel should evaluate rising or falling counter
values.
