8 Set-up
Requirements:
ü Device is properly mounted.
ü Device is properly connected electrically.
u Switch on the operating voltage of the device.
w The device starts.
w The status LEDs show the status of the device.
8.1 Getting started
The user can change the IP settings of the Ethernet interfaces of the device with the help of the ifm
IoT Core Visualizer.
Requirements:
ü Laptop / PC connected with Ethernet port eth3.
u Start web browser.
u Go to the following URL: http://192.168.83.247:8090/browse
w User interface of the ifm IoT Core Visualizer appears.
u Select the [Parameter] > [Network] menu.
w The [br0] structure shows the IP settings of the Ethernet bridge (eth0 and eth1).
w The [eth0] structure shows the IP settings of the ethernet interface eth0.
w The [eth1] structure shows the IP settings of the ethernet interface eth1.
w The [eth2] structure shows the IP settings of the ethernet interface eth2.
w The [eth3] structure shows the IP settings of the ethernet interface eth3.
u Set the IP parameters of the Ethernet interfaces.
u For each interface: Click on to write the changed parameters to the device.
w The changed parameters are stored on the device in a non-volatile manner.
