Error E8
A fatal error has occurred.
Turn the printer o, and then on again.
If the problem persists, contact HP.
Error E9
A rmware or printer update error has occurred.
Turn the printer o, and then on again.
If this does not solve the problem, download the latest printer rmware. Visit the HP support website for more
information. You might need a USB cable to temporarily connect the printer to your computer.

Status Cause and Solution
On The printer is on.
O The printer is powered o.
Dimmed The printer is in Sleep mode. See Energy Save Mode or Sleep
mode.
Blinking The printer is turning on or o, or processing a job.
To cancel the job, press the Cancel button .
Fast blinking If the front door is open, close it.
If the front door is closed, and the light is blinking fast, the
printer is in an error state. Check your computer or device
for any messages that can help provide more information. If
need, try printing a page to generate an onscreen message.
