Before removing the optical drive cage, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 19).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19).
3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 20).
4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 21).
Remove the optical drive cage:
1. Remove the screw (1) optical drive cage from the side of the computer.
2. Lift the cage (2) up, and then pull the cage (3) into the computer to remove it.
To install the optical drive cage, reverse the removal procedures.
System board
To remove the system board, use these procedures.
