Before removing the speaker, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 19).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 19).
3. If applicable, remove the flex I/O connector board (see Flex I/O connector board on page 25).
Remove the speaker:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board connector (1).
2. From the outside-front, press the rubber grommets and the speaker (2) into the chassis.
3. Remove the speaker (3) from the computer.
NOTE: System board appearance can vary.
To install the speaker, reverse the removal procedures.
Ambient (thermal) sensor
To remove the ambient sensor, use these procedures.
