Removal and replacement procedures

8. Flex the inside edges of the bezel at the top and bottom 1, and the left and right sides 2, until the bezel

disengages from the display enclosure.

9. Remove the display bezel 3.

The following display bezels are available:

❏ For use only with 16-inch HP G61 computer models equipped with a webcam module and microphone,

spare part number 530478-001.

❏ For use only with 16-inch Presario CQ61 computer models equipped with a webcam module and

microphone, spare part number 534994-001.

❏ For use only with 15.6-inch HP G61 computer models equipped with a webcam module and microphone,

spare part number 530992-001.

❏ For use only with 15.6-inch HP G61 computer models equipped with a microphone, spare part number

534992-001.

❏ For use only with 15.6-inch Presario CQ61 computer models equipped with a webcam module and

microphone, spare part number 534993-001.

❏ For use only with 15.6-inch Presario CQ61 computer models equipped with a microphone, spare part

number 534995-001.

10. If it is necessary to replace the webcam module, lift the webcam module as far from the display enclosure as

the webcam module cable allows.

11. Disconnect the webcam module cable 1 from the webcam module, and remove the webcam module 2. The

webcam module is available using spare part number 531202-001.
