overview

The HomematicIP Wired Bus Ca-

ble Adapter can be used to connect a

HomematicIP Wired Bus Connection

Cable to a see Assembly and installation,

page 5 suitable bus cable.

The supplied connection cables are gen-

erally used to mount Homematic IP

Wired devices on DIN rails. The bus ca-

ble adapter can also used to bridge larg-

er distances between individual compo-

nents within the bus (for example, from

the last device in the distribution board

back to the HomematicIP Wired Access

Point) or to connect devices that are not

in the board to the bus.

The bus cable adapter can either be

fixed with cable ties inserted through the

corresponding mounting lugs or else

mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail with the

help of an optional adapter.

5 Start-up

5.1 Installation instructions

Read this section completely before

starting installation.

Please observe the hazard warnings

during installation see Hazard infor-

mation, page 2.

Please note the insulation stripping

length of the conductor being con-

nected, as indicated on the device.

If changes to or work on the house in-

stallation are necessary (e.g. extension,

bypass of switch or socket inserts) or to/

on the low-voltage distribution system

for mounting or installing the device, the

vant electrical engineering knowl-

edge and experience!*

Incorrect installation can endanger
