• The machine may only be operated, serviced or repaired by persons who are familiar with it
and who have been informed of the dangers arising during this work.
• Ensure that unauthorised persons maintain an appropriate safety distance from the
machine and keep children away from the machine.
• When working on the machine, never wear loose jewellery, loose clothing, ties or long, open
hair.
• Hide long hair under hair protection.
• Wear close-fitting protective clothing or suitable protective equipment (safety-shoes, work
gloves).
• Always work with care and the necessary caution and never use excessive force.
• Do not overstress the machine!
• Do not work on the machine if it is tired, not concentrated or under the influence of
medication, alcohol or drugs!
• Fix the machine at the mounting holes with appropriate hardware (not supplied) on a
workbench or a work table.
10.4 Hazard Warnings
Despite their intended use, certain residual risks remain. Due to the structure and construction of
the machine, hazardous situations may occur when handling the machines:

Irrespective of all safety regulations, their sound common sense and corresponding technical
suitability/training are and remain the most important safety factor in the error-free operation of
the machine. Safe working depends first and foremost on you!
ASSEMBLY
11.1 Preparatory activities
11.1.1 Check delivery content
Check the machine for transport damage or missing or damaged parts immediately after receipt
of delivery/unpacking.
Note any visible transport damage immediately on the delivery note and report any damage to the
machine or missing parts immediately to your dealer or freight forwarder.
11.2 Machine assembly
The machine is dismantled for transport. Please observe the following assembly instructions to
properly assemble the machine.
•
Install one snap ring (1) on the upper wheel
shaft (2)
• Place the upper wheel in the upper wheel
yoke, push the shaft through and secure with
the 2nd snap ring
• Push the lower wheel shaft (5) through the
required lower wheel (6) and hook it into the
yoke (7)
• Insert the yoke into the machine frame (10)
• Screw in the knob height adjustment (11)
• Fix the mounting brackets (8) to the
machine frame (10) with M6x16 screws (9)
NOTE: The assembly process is completed after the machine has been fixed to a workbench or a
work table.
