Keep the area around the machine free of obstacles (e.g. dust, chips, cut-off workpiece
parts, etc.).
Remove tool keys and other setting tools before working with the machine.
Check the machine's connections for strength before each use.
The machine may only be operated, maintained or repaired by persons who are familiar
and who have been informed about the dangers arising from this work.
Ensure that unauthorized persons keep a safety distance from the machine and keep
children away from the machine.
Always work with care and the necessary caution and never use excessive force.
Do not overload the machine.
Hide long hair under hair protection.
Wear close fitting protective work clothing and suitable protective equipment (eye
protection, safety-shoes, work gloves only when handling tools).
Never wear loose jewellery, loose clothing or accessories (e.g. tie, scarf).
Do not work on the machine if you are tired, not concentrated or under the influence of
medication, alcohol or drugs!
11.4 Special safety instructions for this machine
The machine is only intended for lifting vehicles. Support the vehicle with appropriate
supports immediately after the lifting process. Never lift the entire vehicle.
The vehicle must not move during lifting or lowering. The jack must not be used to move
the vehicle.
Do not lift vehicles if there is a risk of petrol, battery fluid or other hazardous substances
leaking out.
11.5 Hazard warnings
Residual risks
Despite intended use, certain residual risk factors remain.
Risk of crushing hands/fingers during operation.
Please note that working under a vehicle is dangerous, even if the vehicle is raised with the
jack and secured by other safety measures. Always be careful and keep an eye on whether
the jack saddle is firmly positioned on the jack mount and whether there is any movement.

Due to the structure and construction of the machine, hazardous situations may occur which are
identified in this manual as follows:

aptitude/training are and remain the most important safety factors in the error-free operation of
the machine. Safe working depends on you!
