• When processing several workpieces of the same size, use the
workpiece stop (9). To do this, position the workpiece fence at
the desired distance and secure it with the locking lever (10).
• Check that the center of the workpiece is aligned with the
center of the sanding roller. If necessary, adjust the height of
the sanding belt.
• Make sure that the protective cover (11) and the cover for
sanding surface (11a) are closed and the rear cover (11b) is folded
down.
• Connect an extraction system or close the opening of the
extraction connection (12).
• Switch on the machine (13).
• Turn the select switch (14) to the left: Direction of rotation of
the sanding belt counter clockwise.
Only MSM75_3IN1_400V:
• Select the sanding belt speed (15).
• Carefully move the feed lever (16) to feed the workpiece
towards the sanding belt.
• Once the pipe has been sanded, switch off the machine (17).
• Remove the workpiece from the workpiece clamping device.
• Deburr the edge of the pipe if necessary.

WARNING
Handling the machine with connected power supply may result in serious injury or
death.
• Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before cleaning,
maintenance or repair work and secure it against unintentional reconnection.
16.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning guarantees the long service life of your machine and is a prerequisite for its safe
operation.
NOTE
Incorrect cleaning products can attack the finish of the machine. Do not use any
solvents, nitro thinners or other cleaning products that could damage the machine's
finish.
Observe the specifications and instructions of the cleaning agent manufacturer.
• Remove chips and dirt particles from the machine with a cloth after each use. Do not use
compressed air for this.
• Prepare the surfaces and lubricate the bare machine parts with an acid-free lubricating oil
(e.g. WD40 rust inhibitor).
16.2 Maintenance
The machine is low-maintenance and only a few parts need to be serviced. Malfunctions or defects
that could affect your safety must be repaired immediately!
• Before each operation, check the perfect condition of the safety devices.
• Regularly check the perfect and legible condition of the warning and safety labels of the
machine.
• Use only proper and suitable tools.
• Use only original spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Maintenance plan
The type and degree of machine wear depends to a large extent on the operating conditions. The
following intervals apply when the machine is used within the technical limits:

Change sanding belt
• Loosen the screw (1) and open the protective cover.
• Fold back the cover for sanding surface (2).
• Loosen the sanding belt tension (3).
• Remove the sanding belt.
• Insert a new sanding belt.
• Tension the sanding belt (3).
• Close the sanding belt cover and secure it with the screw (1).
• Roughly adjust the sanding belt track (4).
• Close the cover for sanding surface (2).
