INSTALLATION
UNPACKING
Immediately after unpacking the PWn Prep Washer, check for possible shipping damage. If
the machine is found to be damaged, save the packaging material and contact the carrier
within 5 business days after delivery.
Priortoinstallation,testtheelectricalservicetoensurethatitagreeswiththespecications
on the data plate located on the bottom right of the upper door (PW10n and PW20n models)
or above the controls on the front right side of the machine (PW12n models).
Unpacking From Pallet
Carefully unpack the machine from the pallet.
1. Remove the shipping brackets from the machine/pallet (4 locations) and discard the
two pallet extension boards and brackets.

2. Lower the adjustable feet by rotating clockwise until the machine raises off the skid.
3. With the machine resting on the feet, slide the pallet out from underneath the machine.
Removing Energy Recovery Assembly (If Necessary)
Disconnect the electrical power to the machine and follow lockout /
tagout procedures. There may be multiple circuits. Be sure all circuits are disconnected.
If the PWn is too tall to pass through a door opening, follow the procedure below to remove
the energy recovery assembly(s).
NOTE: One energy recovery assembly is shown in the following steps. If removing both
assemblies from the PW20n-ADV models, repeat steps 2 though 9 for each assembly.
1. For PW10n-ADV, PW10n-ADVSW, PW12n-ADV and PW12n-ADVSW models, remove
the right-side panel. For PW20n-ADV models, remove the left-side panel.
