1. Place the two halves of the check

valve (5) into the opening on the top of

the exhaust hood (1).

Make sure that the pins on the valve are

facing outwards.

2. Screw the wall bracket (8) for the exhaust

hood into the dowels using three round-

head screws (12).

3. Hook the exhaust hood onto the wall

bracket (8).

Attaching the exhaust air

hose

The exhaust air hose (4) must be installed

if you intend to use the exhaust hood with

exhaust air operation.

1. Insert the end of the exhaust air hose (4)

with the larger diameter (153 mm) into ap-

pliance-side connection flange.

2. Secure the lower end of the exhaust hose

with the cable tie (10).

Installing the duct cover

1. Screw the wall bracket for the upper duct

cover (6) into the prepared wall plugs us-

ing 2 round-head screws (11).

2. Place the retaining plate (7) onto the low-

er duct cover (3) so that it lines up with

the chamfers on the inside. (Screws and

elongated holes should point upwards).

3. Turn two plate screws (9) from the outside

through the retaining plate (7) and the

lower duct cover (3). Tighten the screws

somewhat, but only loosely.

4. Push the upper part (2) of the duct cover

into the lower part (3) of the duct cover.

5. Place the two parts of the duct cover on

the exhaust hood. Use the recesses.
