Inserting/replacing activated

charcoal filters

The activated coal filters remove odours.

They have to be replaced as soon as the

cooking odours can no longer be adequately

filtered.

If used frequently, you should change the fil-

ters regularly. Check them at least every 6

months.

„Our Service Centre“ on page EN-19.

1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the

corresponding circuit.

2. Open the locks (15) on the grease filter

(16) and carefully remove the grease filter.

3. Only when replacing: Loosen the acti-

vated charcoal filters (18) in a clockwise

direction and then remove them.

4. Place the new activated charcoal filters

(18) to the right and left of the motor as

shown and tighten them in an anti-clock-

wise direction. Allow the locks to snap into

place.

5. Place the grease filter (16) with the pins

into the openings.

6. Push the lock (15) to the side; snap the

grease filter (16) shut and release the lock

again.

7. Switch the power back on.

8. Dispose of the used charcoal filters with

household waste.

Changing the lighting

■ If one of the LEDs ceases to work, it

must be changed by an authorised

service technician. Note for the ser-

vice technician: This exhaust hood

requires LEDs with the ILCOS D-Code

DBS-2/65-H 220-240V~, 2W.
