WARNING

■ Before cleaning the exhaust hood or

changing the ﬁ lter, pull out the mains

plug. If the mains plug is difﬁ cult to

access, switch off or pull out the cor-

responding fuse.

CAUTION

Fire hazard!

Improper handling of the appliance

or incorrect maintenance can result in

grease residue catching ﬁ re.

■ Grease residue on the exhaust hood

or in the grease ﬁ lters can catch ﬁ re

if exposed to high temperatures. For

this reason, clean the surfaces of the

exhaust hood and grease ﬁ lters reg-

ularly.

Cleaning the housing

• Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth

and a little dishwashing detergent. Do not

use any sharp objects or scouring pow-

ders, as these can scratch the surface.

• Clean glass surfaces with standard glass

cleaner.

Cleaning the grease filters

NOTICE

Risk of damage to property!

■ Handle the grease ﬁ lters carefully to

avoid bending or creasing the ﬁ ne

mesh.

■ Only reinsert the grease ﬁ lters after

cleaning once they are fully dry.

Clean the grease filters once a month – or

more frequently if necessary – in the dish-

washer (up to 60 °C), or soak in lukewarm

water with detergent.

1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the

corresponding circuit.

2. Open the locks (15) on the grease filter (16)

and carefully remove the grease filter.

3. Wash the grease filter (16) in a dishwash-

er or in the sink like ordinary dish ware.

4. Place the grease filter (16) with the pins

into the openings.

5. Push the lock (15) to the side; snap the

grease filter (16) shut and release the lock

again.

6. Switch the power back on.
