Activated charcoal filter

• When using the appliance for air circula-

tion, only do so with activated charcoal

filters inserted.

• If neighbours complain about odours, it

may be a good idea to insert activated

charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,

too.

• To insert see “Inserting/replacing activat-

ed charcoal filters” see Page EN-22.

Energy-saving tips

• Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-

erwise, energy will be wasted.

– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes

or steam are present.

– The fan is not needed when cooking for

a short time or warming up foods that

have little or no odour.

• Ensure that there is enough supply air;

otherwise, the exhaust hood may not func-

tion optimally. If necessary, open the win-

dow or kitchen door.

• Clean the grease filters (8) regularly.
