■ Before cleaning the exhaust hood or

changing the ﬁlter, pull out the mains

plug. If the mains plug is difﬁcult to

access, switch off or pull out the cor

responding fuse.

CAUTION

Fire hazard!

Improper handling of the appliance

or incorrect maintenance can result in

grease residue catching ﬁre.

■ Grease residue on the exhaust hood

or in the grease ﬁlters can catch ﬁre

if exposed to high temperatures. For

this reason, clean the surfaces of the

exhaust hood and grease ﬁlters reg

ularly.

Cleaning the housing

NOTICE

Improper handling of the appliance

can lead to damage to property.

■ Do not use any sharp objects or scour-

ing powders, as these can scratch the

surface.

We recommend cleaning the surfaces of the

exhaust hood after every use.

• Wipe the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth

and a little dishwashing detergent.

• Clean glass surfaces with standard glass

cleaner.

Cleaning the grease filters

NOTICE

Risk of damage to property!

Improper handling of the appliance

can lead to damage to property.

■ Handle the grease ﬁlters carefully to

avoid bending or creasing the ﬁne

mesh.

■ Only reinsert the grease ﬁlters after

cleaning once they are fully dry.

Clean the grease filters once a month – or

more frequently if necessary – in the dish-

washer (up to 60 °C), or in warm water with

detergent.

1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the

corresponding circuit.

2. Flip the cover (6) up.

3. Open the lock (7) on the grease filters (8),

and carefully pull the grease filters (8)

downwards to remove them.

4. Wash the grease filters (8) in a dishwash-

er or in the sink like ordinary dishware.
