Dishwasher detergents, rinse aids and dishwasher salts

Add dishwasher salt:
– prior to using the appliance for the first
time,
– when the “Add dishwasher salt” indicator
lights up in the display (11).

1. Remove the lower dish rack (20).
2. Turn the cover of the dishwasher salt dis-
penser (22) in an anticlockwise direction
and remove it.
3. Upon first use: Add 1.5 l water to the dish-
washer salt dispenser so that the dish-
washer salt does not clump.

4. Place the supplied filling funnel (28) on
the dispenser opening.
5. Add dishwasher salt up to the edge of the
dispenser. Water may come out; this is
not a problem.
6. Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of
a spoon or similar.
7. Turn the cover of the dishwasher salt dis-
penser in a clockwise direction up to the
stop point.
8. Replace the lower dish rack.
9. Start a dishwashing programme straight
away or carry out a test run immedi-
ately upon first use (see „Test run“ on
page EN-16).
