Problem Possible cause Solution
There are
residues or
streaks on the
dishes.
The rinse aid is incor-
rectly dosed.
Adjust the dosage (see "Changing the rinse
aid dose" in the chapter "Dishwasher deter-
gents, rinse aids and dishwasher salts”).
The dishwasher salt is
depleted.
Fill up the dishwasher salt (see "Adding dish-
washer salt" in the chapter "Dishwasher deter-
gents, rinse aids and dishwasher salts”).
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of a
spoon or similar.
The dishes are
not completely
clean.
There are food scraps
which are encrusted onto
the dishes.
Soak dirty dishes prior to washing the dishes.
The dishes have not
been stacked optimally.
Place the dishes so that all parts can be
reached by the water jets (see chapter "Load-
ing the dishwasher").
You have selected the
incorrect dishwashing
programme.
Select the correct rinse programme (see
chapter "Programme Table").
The dishwasher deter-
gent is incorrectly dosed.
Dose the dishwasher detergent properly (see
chapter "Programme table").
The water pressure is
too low.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The spraying arm can
not rotate unhindered.
Ensure that no dishes are impeding the mo-
tion of the spraying arm.
The nozzles on the
spraying arm are
blocked/calcified.
Clean the nozzles (see "Checking and clean-
ing the spraying arms" in "Care and mainten-
ance").
