Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance
cannot be switched on.
The mains plug has not been
inserted into a socket.
Insert the mains plug into the
socket.
There is no voltage being
supplied through the socket.
Check the fuse.
Check the socket by connect-
ing another device.
The selected dishwashing
programme will not start or it
stops.
The appliance door is not
closed properly.
Close the appliance door.
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on com-
pletely.
The inlet hose is defective. Contact our service (see
chapter "Service").
There is a risk of overflowing.
The electrical water stop sys-
tem has been activated.
The display lights up al-
though dishwasher salt has
been added.
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using
the end of a spoon or similar.
The water is not running or it
is running only very slowly.
There is a kink in the inlet
hose.
Route the inlet hose correctly
so that it does not buckle (see
"Connecting the inlet hose" in
the chapter "Set-up, connec-
tion and initial start-up").
The water tap is not properly
on.
Turn the water tap on com-
pletely.
The filters are blocked. Clean the filters (see "Check-
ing and cleaning the filters" in
chapter "Care and mainten-
ance").
The outlet hose is kinked, has
been extended or is hanging
too high up/too low.
Route the outlet hose cor-
rectly (see chapter "Set-up,
connection and initial start-
up").
The appliance is not sealed. The appliance door seal is
defective.
Have the appliance door seal
replaced (see chapter "Ser-
vice").
The outlet hose or the inlet
hose is defective.
Have the faulty hose replaced
(see chapter "Service").
The appliance can be
switched on/off, but cannot be
operated.
The appliance can be oper-
ated only when the door is
closed.
Close the appliance door.
