Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
– Read the "Safety" chapter, particularly
the safety instructions.
– Place and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in the chapter "Set-up, connec-
tion and initial start-up".
– Fill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multitabs.
Preparation
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Leave the appliance door open.
3. Press the“On/Off”button (1) to switch
the appliance on.
The programme display (8) shows "- -".
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most effi-
cient programme for cleaning normally
soiled dishes in terms of combined en-
ergy and water consumption.
– If you keep to the specified maximum
capacity when loading your appliance,
and if you arrange the dishes correctly,
energy and water can be saved (see
chapter "Loading the dishwasher").
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption
and is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow
the instructions in the user manual.
Selecting and starting the
dishwashing programme
It is recommended that you carry
out a test run before the first dish-
washer cycle in order to remove
residues from the manufacturing
process and to ensure that the
device is fully functional. Carry out
this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dish-
washer detergent.
1. Open the appliance door and turn on
the appliance with the “On/Off” button
(1).
2. Press the "Programme selection" button
(2) repeatedly until the desired pro-
gramme (P1-P9) appears in the pro-
gramme display (8) (see chapter "Pro-
gramme table").
3. Close the appliance door to start the
programme.
When you open the appliance door, the
programme is paused.
When the cycle is finished, beeps are
heard.
4. Turn off the appliance by pressing the
“On/Off” button.
– Do not open the door before the
end of the programme.
– After the end of the dishwashing
programme, you can leave the
door of your dishwasher open to
speed up the drying process.
– If the dishwasher door is opened or the
power is disconnected during washing,
the cycle continues to run when the door
is closed or when the power is turned on
again.
Delayed start
The washing cycle will normally begin as
soon as the appliance door has been
closed. If you want the cycle to begin later,
you can specify this. The start time can be
delayed between 1 and 19 hours.
1. Press the“Delay” button (4) repeatedly
until the desired delay setting is dis-
played.
2. After you have set the start time, close
the appliance door to start the delayed
washing programme.
3. If you want to change the start time
delay, open the appliance door, press
the “Delay” button again and select a
new delay time.
4. To cancel the start time delay, press the
"Delay" button until the value "h:00" ap-
pears.
