Problem Probable cause / Solution
There are discolorations and oil stains in
the drum
The appliance requires a service wash. Initiate the
„Drum Clean” washing programme without detergent
and without any load.
There is an unpleasant odour coming
from the appliance.
Because of the rubber components, the appliance
might have a rubber smell initially, but it will fade as
you use it.
The door cannot be opened The safety protection function is active due to high
water level or temperature.
Check if the programme ended normally and if there
was a power outage.
Is the Child Lock function activated? Turn o the Child
Lock
Is the delay end function activated? Deactivate o the
delay end function.
Detergent dispenser drawer is leaking in
the appliance
Clean the dispenser drawer as detergent buildup is
causing obstruction.
The water pressure is excessively high and should be
lowered. Gently adjust the valve on the water pipe and
attempt the operation again.
The appliance is tilted forward. It must be levelled in
its nal position.
The appliance is experiencing leakage
(other than the dispenser drawer).
The inlet hose is not secure - examine both the tting
on the housing and the water valve.
Even though the inlet hose is tightly secured, it con-
tinues to leak. If so, replace the rubber washers. The
rubber washer is missing from the water inlet hose.
The drain hose is not attached properly.
If there is a water leakage, switch o power and con-
tact customer service for repair or maintenance.
The appliance will not power on The appliance may not be properly connected to the
socket, or the plug prongs might not be making proper
contact.
There is no power to the socket or the fuse in the
mains plug has blown.
