attention should be sought. Leaking battery fluid can
cause skin irritation or burns.

Special safety instructions
• The battery must be checked for damage before each
use. If any damage is visible, you must cease all use of
the battery. It is forbidden to disassemble or attempt to
repair the battery yourself. Contact our customer service
(contact details on the last page).
Notes about the battery
• Fully charge before first use.
• For optimal battery performance, do not allow the battery
to discharge too deeply. Charge the battery regularly.
• Deep discharge of the battery should be avoided, as this
will damage the battery cells. The most common cause
of deep discharge is prolonged storage or non-use of
batteries. Stop any work as soon as the performance
noticeably decreases or the protective electronics are
activated. Fully charge the battery before storage.
• Store the battery in a cool place, preferably at 15°C, and
keep it charged to at least 40%.
• Lithium-ion batteries are subject to natural aging. As soon
as the performance of the battery is less than 80% of its
‚as new‘ condition, it must be replaced. Weakened cells in
old batteries can no longer achieve the high performance
requirements, and therefore pose a safety risk.
• Replace the battery in a timely manner to protect
appliances from overload. The battery has overheat
protection, but be careful to avoid overloading it.
Overloading can cause cell damage inside the battery
casing without the overheating being noticeable
externally. Contact our customer service (contact
information on the back of the manual).
• Do not throw the battery into an open fire. Risk of
explosion!
• Do not ignite or expose the battery to fire.
• Ensure that the battery is not damaged by impacts.
Batteries that have fallen from a height of more than one
meter or have been subjected to severe impacts should be
replaced immediately, even if the external casing appears
to be undamaged. The battery cells inside may have been
