BEFORE USE
Check before using the trailer (see below instructions):
• The wheels and/or drawbar are properly locked to the trailer.
• The tires are inflated according the specified tire pressure.
• The safety flag is placed correctly whenever required.
• The drawbar load is within the limits and the trailer is not overloaded, see table [A].
• All cargo items are secured and not touching the wheels.
USE
[7] Securing your items on the trailer platform
• Distribute the load evenly over the platform. Place heavier items in the centre of the trailer. See table [B]
• Use straps or bands to secure your cargo on the trailer. The metal frame and the slots in the platform can be used to loop/pass
or aach and fix the straps. Check that items cannot slide or stick out of the platform.
• When transporting heavy loads, check the drawbar load of the trailer, table [A].
• Make sure loose strap ends and other covers or fastening materials cannot touch the wheels or hang outside of the trailer.
• When transporting large items that extend beyond the size of the trailer, check whether you need to take extra measures to
comply to local traffic safety rules.
[8] Walking with the trailer
• Disconnect the drawbar from the bicycle.
• Push and hold the buon [8a] on the drawbar. Rotate the drawbar upwards by about 90 degrees.
• Let go of the buon on the drawbar and be sure that the drawbar is locked in its up-position. If the buon does not fully come
out, the drawbar is not locked. Pull the drawbar to ensure a strong connection.
• To return the drawbar to cycling-position, push the buon [8a] and rotate down. Be sure the buon comes out and check that
the drawbar is locked well before cycling.
9] Using the kick stand
• Disconnect the trailer from the bicycle and hold the front of the trailer from the ground.
• Push the wheel guards gently down to move the kick stand into down-position. [9]
• When the kick stand is fully out, it will lock in down-position, pointing slightly forward. The kick stand can support the weight of
the trailer and load.
• To put the kick stand in cycling-position, li the front of the trailer and push the wheel guard to the rear and up until the wheel
guards are parallel to the cargo bed.
[10] Using the Cargo Divider
• The ends of the divider must be placed inside the channel in the metal frame. Put one end into place and gently slide the divider
into position, perpendicular to the metal frame. The ends of the divider are spring loaded to make the fiing easier.
• Once both ends are inside the frame channel, slide the Divider to the right place. Rotate the tube in the center to fix it or to
release it.
[11] Using the Frame Clips
• The Frame Clips can be used with the elastic band to fix your cargo, no maer the size or shape.
• Hold the Frame Clips parallel to the metal frame to insert them into the channel in the frame. Slide the Frame Clip to the
position where you need it. To fix the position, rotate the Clip untill it is perpendicular to the frame. Rotate back to unlock again.
• The hooks on the top and boom of the clip can hold the elastic band to secure your items in the trailer.
