Remote Control Features and Settings
10. SWING UP/DOWN
Press the SWING UP/DOWN button to choose the position of
the horizontal airflow louvers.

NOTE:
• It is advisable not to keep the horizontal air flow louver in the
downward position for an extended period of time in COOL or
DRY mode. This may cause condensate water to form on the
louver.
• When turning the unit on, the remote control will automatically
return the louver to the previous set swing position. When
turning the unit off, the louver will rotate to the full open
position prior to closing.
11. SWING SIDE/SIDE Button (select models)
Press the LOUVER SIDE/SIDE button to choose the position of
the vertical airflow louvers.

NOTE:
• When the humidity is very high, the condensate water may occur
on the air outlet if all vertical louvers are adjusted too far to the
left or right.
• When turning the unit on, the remote control will automatically
return the louver to the previous set position.
12. DISPLAY
Turns on and off the indoor display. Press the DISPLAY button
10 times within 5 seconds to display the ambient temperature.
The indoor unit will beep 2 times when the setting is successful.
Press the DISPLAY button 10 times within 5 seconds again to
display the set temperature. The indoor unit will beep 4 times
when the setting is successful. The default display temperature
is the set temperature.
13. SLEEP
Press the SLEEP button, the heat pump will operate the sleep
function, the display light will be turned off after 20 seconds.
The control logics are as following running in different mode.
1. COOL or DRY modes
One hour after SLEEP mode begins, the temperature
setpoint will increase 1°F (0.5°C). 2 hours after beginning
sleep mode the setpoint will increase 1°F (0.5°C). Seven hours
after beginning sleep mode, the setpoint will decrease 1°F
(0.5°C). At the eighth hour the unit will shut itself off if no
other function is selected. This feature helps with achieving
maximum efficiency and comfort while you sleep. See the
image below*.
2. Heat Mode
One hour after SLEEP mode starts, the setting temperature
will decrease 2°F. After 2 hours, the setting temperature
will decrease an additional 2°F. After 5 hours, the setting
temperature will increase 1°F. After 8 hours, the unit will shut
itself off if no other function is selected. This feature helps
with achieving maximum efficiency and comfort the your
feeling while you sleep. See the image below*.

3. AUTO mode
the unit operates in corresponding sleep mode adapted to the
automatically selected operation mode.
NOTE:
• When the unit is set to sleep mode, the fan speed will be
set to low speed and cannot be changed.
• When the TIMER function is set, the sleeping function
cannot be set. If the sleeping function has been set and
the user sets the TIMER function, the sleeping function will
be canceled and the unit will be set to the timer function.
14. FOLLOW
Press the FOLLOW button, the air will follow the body no matter
people stand or moving. See chart below.
15. SURROUND
Press the SURROUND button. The air will surround the body no
matter whether people are standing or moving. See chart below.
* In auto mode, press the sleep button 6 times. 4 beeps response
indicates that the unit will resume operation after sleep mode. 2
beeps response indicates that the unit will turn off the power after
sleep mode.
