Alarms
The GPE-1000 has many protective features. If one of
these items is triggered, the alarm information is
displayed on the screen and the corresponding alarm
icon (OCP, OVP, etc.) appears in the status bar. At the
same time, the output is automatically turned off
according to the alarm type and control Settings (see
page 27). How to clear alarms or how to set protected
mode, see page 29.
OVP
Over voltage protection (OVP) prevents a high
voltage from damaging the load. This alarm can be set
by the user.
OCP
Over current protection prevents high current from
damaging the load. This alarm can be set by the user.
OTP
Over temperature protection is a hardware protection
function.
