Turn the chuck sleeve (4) counterclockwise (as
viewed from the front) to open the chuck jaws.
Place the driver/ drill bit into the chuck as far
as it goes. Turn the sleeve clockwise to tighten
the chuck.
The speed of the drill can be changed for
various applications. Press the speed selector
(1) button to change to the desired speed.
To remove the bit, turn the chuck sleeve
clockwise to release.
Caution: Do not touch a drill bit just aer
use as it is likely to be very hot.
Select low speed (1) for
applications requiring
higher power and torque
such as screws driving
and drilling in metal.
Select high speed (2) for
fasting drilling or driving
such as drilling in wood
or masonry.
Never change the speed while the tool is running. Doing so may result in serious
damage to the tool.
WARNING: to reduce the risk of personal injury remove the battery before fitting and
removing drill bits and drivers.
