Before rst use

Remove any protective stickers that may be adhered to the soleplate or the body of the

device.

Clean the soleplate with a so, dry cloth.

Unwind the power cord.

NOTE: It is normal that, during the rst use, the appliance emits a certain amount of

smoke. This phenomenon is normal and will disappear with regular use.

Operation

Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains. Place the appliance in a

horizontal position and ll the tank with water through the water opening in the tank.

Never ll the tank above the mark to avoid spillage.

NOTE: To extend the life of the product and improve its performance, it is recommend-

ed to use distilled or demineralized water.

NOTE: Aer use, place the appliance in an upright position and turn the temperature

selection knob to the maximum position. Allow the device to heat up for two minutes.

Then disconnect the appliance from the mains and wait for it to cool down completely

before handling, cleaning or storing it.

Before ironing, always check the ironing instructions on the garment labels.

Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light will come on.

Turn the temperature selection knob to the ideal position according to the label of the

garment to be ironed.

When the indicator light goes out the appliance has reached the ideal temperature for

ironing. If you select a dierent temperature during ironing, the indicator light will come on

again; it is recommended to wait until the indicator light goes out before resuming ironing.

Dry ironing

The appliance can be used for dry ironing. It is recommended that the water tank is empty

when using the dry ironing mode.
