lowed to increase or decrease the spin
speed value, the relevant arrow will turn on
partially.
In programs where OptiMix is used,
the spin speed may be updated
automatically during the washing
cycle to protect your laundry after
necessary detections, depending
on the product model.
The display will then show the options
"Rinse Hold l_l" and "No Spin--" depending
on the model of the device.
If you are not going to unload your laundry
immediately after the programme com-
pletes, use Rinse Hold function in order to
prevent your laundry from getting wrinkled
when there is no water in the machine. This
function holds the laundry in the final rins-
ing water.
If you want to spin your laundry after the
Rinse Hold function:
1. Adjust the spin speed.
2. Press Start/Pause button. The pro-
gramme will resume. Machine drains
the water and spins the laundry.
If you want to drain the water at the end of
the programme without spinning, use the
No Spin function.
No change can be made in pro-
grammes where spin speed adjust-
ment is not allowed.
You can change the spin speed also after
the washing cycle has started in the allow-
able washing steps using the procedure de-
scribed above. If not allowed, when you
press the spin speed setting button, the se-
lected spin speed will be displayed on the
screen but the symbols “< / >” will not be
displayed and you will not be allowed to se-
lect a spin speed.
Rinse Hold
If you are not going to unload your clothes
immediately after the program completes,
use rinse hold function to keep your laundry
in the final rinsing water in order to prevent
them from getting wrinkled when there is
no water in the machine.
After performing this operation, adjust the
desired spin speed for the laundry remain-
ing in the water and press the Start/Pause
button. The programme will resume. Water
is drained, laundry is spun and the pro-
gramme is completed.
If the Start/Pause button is pressed before
the spin speed is set, water is drained and
the program ends without spinning.
6.9 Auxiliary Function Selection
Before starting the program, select the de-
sired auxiliary functions on the product dis-
play or the HomeWhiz application.
When a program is selected, the symbols
corresponding to the additional functions
selected along with that program will illu-
minate fully. If no additional function is se-
lected, the Leds of these functions light up
in half to indicate that they can be selected.
The symbols of the functions that cannot
be selected are dimmed.
When you press an additional func-
tion that cannot be selected with
the current program, the washer
will emit a warning tone.
Some functions cannot be selected
together. If a second auxiliary func-
tion conflicting with the first one is
selected before starting the ma-
chine, the function selected first
will be cancelled and the second
auxiliary function selection will re-
main active.
An auxiliary function that is not
compatible with the programme
cannot be selected (See “Program
and Consumption Table”).
Some programmes have auxiliary
functions that must be operated
simultaneously. Those functions
cannot be cancelled.
