If a gas leak occurs, the appliance must not be used and the
gas supply must be switched off immediately. Before using the
appliance again, it must be checked and repaired if necessary.
If there is a smell of gas, do not switch any lights on or off, do not
operate any other electrical switches and do not use a telephone,
radio or mobile phone in the danger zone.
If you smell gas, do not use an open flame (e.g. lighter, match) and
do not smoke.
Check the gas hose at least once a month and every time the gas
cylinder is replaced. If the gas hose shows signs of wear or other
damage, it must be replaced immediately with a new gas hose of
the same length and equivalent quality.
The gas hose must be replaced within the prescribed periods.
Ensure that the seal on the gas cylinder valve is present and in
good condition. No additional seals may be used.
Gas cylinders must be protected from strong sunlight and only
stored upright.
The appliance may only be operated via a tested, intermediate
pressure regulator with the appropriate outlet pressure for the ap-
pliance (see rating plate).
The appliance may only be used with a gas hose tested in accord-
ance with DIN EN 16436-1 class 2.
The gas hose must not exceed the maximum length of approx. 150
cm, but must be long enough to ensure kink-free installation.
The gas hose may need to be replaced if there are other national
requirements.
The gas hose must not be kinked or twisted.
Always carry out commissioning and ignition according to the
instructions.
Switch off the appliance if it cannot be left unattended in a safe
condition.
Only have repairs to the appliance carried out by authorised spe-
cialist companies or customer service. Incorrect repairs can cause
considerable danger to the user. The warranty will also become
void.
