2.2 Specific safety instructions
Never use water to extinguish the flame.
Do not clean the appliance base in the dishwasher or immerse it
in water as this could seriously damage the product. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning.
When barbecuing or handling hot components, wear heat-resist-
ant gloves in accordance with the PPE regulation (category II with
regard to heat protection, DIN-EN 407) or use suitable barbecue
tongs.
The Technical Rules for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (TRF) must be ob-
served.
The appliance may only be operated on a level, stable, non-flam-
mable and non-inclined surface.
The appliance must not be used to heat living spaces.
The appliance must not be operated in the vicinity of other barbe-
cues, heaters, flammable or explosive material!
The appliance must be installed in such a way that the safety
distance to flammable materials and to walls and the housing is
2 metres.
The appliance must not be moved when it is in operation.
The gas cylinder valve must be closed before moving and after
operating the appliance.
The device may only be used in the specified countries of destina-
tion. The applicable national regulations must be observed!
Only the gas types and gas cylinders specified by the manufac-
turer may be used. The gas cylinder should only be changed out-
doors, away from naked flames or other sources of ignition. The
gas cylinder valve must be closed.
Check the seal of the pressure regulator for correct installation and
functionality.
