SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
WARNING
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older and
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or without
experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been
instructed in how to use the appliance safely and understand the
risks involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Children
must not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
Store the unit indoors. Protect against rainfall.
The device is not intended as a toy. When used by children,
please take special care.
Use as described in this manual, only with the equipment
recommended by the Manufacturer.
Do not use with a defective battery. If the unit malfunctions, has
been dropped, damaged, left outside in the rain or dropped in
water, return it to the service centre.
Do not touch the device with wet hands.
Do not insert any objects into the openings. Do not use with a
clogged suction opening; protect vents from dust, hair, anything
that may restrict airflow.
Keep hair, loose pieces of clothing, fingers and all parts of the
body away from openings and moving parts.
Switch off the device before removing the batteries.
Take special care when cleaning the stairs.
Do not use to collect flammable or combustible materials e.g.
liquids such as petrol. Do not use in areas where they may be
present.
Only the charger supplied by the manufacturer should be used
for charging.
Do not draw in anything that is burning, such as cigarettes,
matches or hot ashes.
Do not use without a dust bag and/or filters in place.
Do not charge batteries outdoors.
Only charge with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A
charger suitable for one type of battery may present a fire hazard
when used with another battery.
Only use power tools with specially marked batteries. The use of
other batteries may present a risk of injury and fire.
When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects.
Under improper conditions, fluid may flow from the battery; avoid
contact. If accidental contact occurs, flush with water.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES
This device is intended for domestic use.
Read these operating instructions and the charger manual
carefully before use.
Do not pull in the following materials, such action may cause fire,
injury and/or property damage:
Hot materials such as lit cigarettes or sparks / metal dust from
grinding / cutting metal.
Flammable materials such as petrol, thinner, paraffin or paint.
Explosives such as nitroglycerine.
Flammable materials such as aluminium, zinc, magnesium,
titanium, phosphorus or celluloid.
Wet dirt, water, oil or the like.
Hard items with sharp edges, such as wood chips, metals,
stones, broken glass, nails, pins or feathers.
Conductive dust, such as metal or carbon.
Fine particles such as concrete dust.
If you notice anything abnormal, stop work immediately.
If the hoover is dropped or bumped, check carefully for cracks or
damage before restarting.
Stay away from cookers or other heat sources.
Do not block the inlet or ventilation openings.
PURPOSE
The tool is designed to collect dry dust.

PREPARATION FOR WORK
MONTAGE
NOTE: Always ensure that the unit is switched off and the battery
pack is removed before carrying out any work on the power tool.
Remember to empty the hoover before the tank becomes
overfilled or the suction power weakens. Failure to do so may
result in a clogged filter or damage to the motor.
Dust removal
To clean the filter, shake the dust container 4-5 times by hand.
Removing the dust container
To remove the dust container, point the appliance downwards,
press the Lock Button (2) lightly and slowly remove the container
from the Main Housing (9) (fig.A).
Removing the filter from the dust container
Pull the Filter Assembly out of the Dust Hopper (3) and remove the
dust and debris accumulated inside the hopper. (Fig.B and C).
Filter cleaning
The filter cartridge is accessible by removing the mesh-covered
Pre-filter cover. To remove dust, remove the filter and tap it gently
to remove the dust. (fig.D).
Assembly of the Filter Unit
Assemble the filter in the reverse order of step 4. Ensure that the
Filter Assembly is fitted correctly and fits tightly to the filter holder.
If the filter is fitted incorrectly, dust may enter the motor and damage
the motor.
Installation of the dust container
Point the suction inlet (8) downwards, press the Locking Button (2)
lightly and insert the Dust Collector (3) slowly and straight, then
release the Locking Button to lock it in place. (fig.A).
