NOT CARRY OUT ASSEMBLY, ADJUSTMENT OR OPERATION OF
THE EQUIPMENT.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
NOTE!
Read the operating instructions carefully, follow the warnings and safety
conditions contained therein. The appliance has been designed for safe
operation. Nevertheless: installation, maintenance and operation of the
appliance can be dangerous. Following the following procedures will
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury and will reduce the installation
time of the appliance

SAFETY RULES
• The warnings, cautions and instructions in this manual do not cover

sense and caution when using this tool. Always be aware of the
environment and ensure that the tool is used safely and responsibly.
• DO NOT allow people to install or operate this product until they
have read this manual and understand how the product works.
• Use the correct tool for the job. DO NOT try to force this equipment
to do work designed for industrial equipment. There are certain
applications for which this equipment was designed. It will do a
better and safer job within the range for which it was designed.
DO NOT use this equipment for purposes for which it is not intended.
SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
• Check the work area before each use. Keep the work area clean,
dry, clutter-free and well lit. Cluttered, wet or dark work areas can
cause injury.
• Do not use the tool in areas where there is a risk of causing a fire or
explosion; for example, in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. The tool may produce sparks that could ignite flammable
liquids, gases or dust.
• Do not allow the tool to come into contact with an electrical source.
The tool is not insulated and contact will cause an electric shock.
• Keep children and bystanders away from the work area when
operating the tool. Do not allow children to operate the tool.
• Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other
mechanical hazards in the work area. Some of these hazards may
be hidden from your view and could cause injury and/or property
damage if contacted.
PERSONAL SECURITY
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when
operating the tool. Do not use the tool when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing, dangling objects or
jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Ventilation holes in the tool often cover moving parts and you should
avoid being drawn in by them.
• Use protective clothing and equipment. Use safety glasses with side
shields or face shield if necessary. Use a dust mask in dusty working
conditions. Also use non-slip protective footwear, helmet, gloves,
dust extraction systems and hearing protectors where necessary.
This applies to all persons in the work area.
• DO NOT reach too far with your device. Maintain good posture and
balance at all times.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The double insulation eliminates the need for a three-wire grounded
power cable and a grounded power system.
• Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
cookers and fridges. There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. Getting water into the
power tool increases the risk of electric shock.
• Never use the power cord to carry tools or pull the plug out of the
socket. Keep the power cord away from sources of heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Replace damaged power cords immediately.
Damaged power cords increase the risk of electric shock
• When working with a power tool outdoors, use outdoor extension
cords. These extension cords are designed for outdoor use and
reduce the risk of electric shock.
