SAFETY RULES
WARNINGS ON WORKING WITH AN ELECTRIC HAMMER
Note: Before proceeding with the adjustment,
maintenance or repair, unplug the power cord from the
mains socket.
Safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection and a safety helmet
should be worn when handling the hammer (if there is a danger that
anything may fall from above). A protective respirator and non-slip
footwear are recommended. Dust extraction systems should be
used if the nature of the work requires it.
Ensure that the drill chuck of the hammer is properly secured in
place before starting work.
During operation, the attachment of the tool may loosen as a result
of vibration; therefore, the attachment of the tool must be checked
particularly carefully before starting work. Unwanted loosening of the
tool may cause damage to the tool or an accident at work.
If the hammer is to be used at low temperatures or after prolonged
storage, the hammer should be allowed to run without load for a few
minutes so that its internal components are properly lubricated.
When handling a hammer held aloft, keep your feet firmly apart and
make sure there are no bystanders below.
Always hold the hammer with both hands, using the auxiliary handle.
Do not touch the rotating parts of the hammer with your hands. It is
also not permitted to stop the rotating hammer spindle with your
hands. Doing the opposite risks damaging your hand.
Do not point the working hammer towards other people or yourself.
When working with the hammer, hold the hammer by the insulated
parts to avoid electrical shock when possibly encountering a live
electrical wire.
Do not allow any liquid to enter the hammer. Use mineral soap and
a damp cloth to clean the surface of the hammer. Do not use petrol
or other cleaning agents that may be harmful to plastic parts for
cleaning.
If it is necessary to use an extension cable, always ensure that the
extension cable is selected correctly (up to 15 m, wire cross-section
1.5 mm2, over 15 m but less than 40 m - wire cross-section 2.5
mm2). The extension cable should always be fully extended.
The three-jaw drill chuck must not be used when the hammer is set
to work in impact drilling or chiseling mode. This chuck is designed
exclusively for non-impact drilling in wood or steel.
ATTENTION: The device is designed for indoor operation.
Despite the use of an inherently safe design, the use of safety
measures and additional protective measures, there is always a
residual risk of injury during work.

PURPOSE
CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION
The electric hammer is a hand-held power tool with Class II insulation.
The unit is driven by a single-phase commutator motor. The hammer
can be used for drilling holes in non-hammered, hammered or channel
drilling modes, and surface work in materials such as concrete, stone,
brick, etc. Areas of use are the execution of renovation and construction
work, as well as any work in the field of independent amateur activity
(DIY).
Do not misuse the power tool.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
Watch out for hidden electrical cables or gas and water pipes. Check
the working area, e.g. with an electrical wire or metal detector.
Always use the correct supply voltage!
The voltage of the power source must match the value given on the
machine's rating plate.
Preparation for work
Before starting work, make sure that no damage or cracks are visible on
the appliance. Check the power cable for breaks or visible damage or
abrasion of the insulation. If any defects are found, absolutely do not
operate it, the unit must be checked by a dedicated service.
Installation of accessories
Before installing any drill accessory, chisel or drill chuck, the machine must
be disconnected from the power supply. To install the accessory place the
tool in the chuck Figure A1. The hammer drill is equipped with a Quick
Chuck mode, so it does not require the tool lock to be pulled off during
installation fig A3. The accessory may only need to be rotated on axis to
plunge to the correct level. To remove the work tool, pull the tool lock on
the chuck figure A3 towards the rear of the machine and remove the
accessory, then release the work tool chuck lock.
NOTE!
Do not use other drill bits like SDS+ for impact drilling and chiselling!
When using drills, it is important to bear in mind the maximum drill diameter
that is allowed by the manufacturer, see rating table.
