Ensure the on/off/speed knob is in the position.
Add all ingredients in the jar and secure the lid. The lid must be secure or
the blender will not work.
Do not exceed the MAX line when adding ingredients to the jar.
Secure the jar on the base.
Plug in the blender.
Rotate the on/off/speed knob to the On position. All four buttons on the
control panel will illuminate.
Press the button. This button remains illuminated, but the others
will turn off. The blender begins to work.
Rotate the on/off/speed knob to the position or press any button to
stop blending at any time.
Note: The speed cannot be adjusted using the on/off/speed knob when using the
button.
You may add more ingredients by carefully opening the lid cap /
measuring cup and dropping ingredients through the lid hole. Replace the
lid cap when you are done.
Note: See on page 13 to maximize the blender’s speed and
power.
When finished, the blender stops automatically.
Unplug the blender, remove the jar from the base, remove the lid, and
pour.
To prevent overheating, wait 30 minutes if you wish to use the
blender again.
The tamper allows for the processing of thick, dense ingredients without
stopping the blend. The tamper pushes these ingredients toward the blade
for fully blended results.
While the blend is in progress, turn the tamper handle counterclockwise
from the lock position to the unlock position and push down. When
finished, lift the tamper handle up until the tamper plate is touching the lid
and turn the handle clockwise to lock the plate back in place.
Always lift and lock the tamper plate when the blender is not in use.
