USE
Please Note!
■ Check the device and the connecting
cable for damage each time before put-
ting it into operation. The device should
only be used when it is undamaged and
in working order.
■ Ensure that there is sucient ventilation
while the device is in operation.
■ Hot steam can escape when opening
the lids. Therefore, be careful when
removing the lids. There is a danger
ofscalding from heat and hot steam.
■ Do not use the device continuously for
more than 6 – 8hours.
■ Always place hot food trays on a heat-
resistant surface.
• Before initial use clean it once it cools
down (see the “Cleaning” chapter). Also
clean the lids before you use it for the
first time.
1. Place the heating plate(4) with a clear
space at the sides (at least 20cm) and
clear space above it (at least 30cm) on
aflat and heat-resistant surface.
2. Fully unwind the connecting cable and
plug the mains plug into a plug socket.
3. Switch on and heat up: Turn the tem-
perature control(7) towards the High
position.
The heating lamp(6) lights up. After
heating up, the heating light goes out.
4. Place the frame(3) on the heating plate.
5. Fill the food trays(2) with already
warm / hot food and place them in the
frame.
6. Close the food trays with the lids(1).

The heating plate can also be used
without the food trays and the
frame, e.g. to keep plates warm.
• Adjust the temperature as required using
the temperature control.
7. Switch off: Turn the temperature con-
trol to the Off position and disconnect
the device from the mains power.
8. After cooling down, clean the device and
accessories (see the “Cleaning” chapter).
CLEANING
Please Note!
■ The heating plate is not dishwasher- safe.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents or abrasive sponges to
clean the device. Do not use any metallic
objects. These may damage the surface.
• Clean the food trays and lids after each
use. Do not allow any food residues
todryon.
1. Make sure that the device has been
disconnected from the mains power and
has cooled down completely.
2. Remove all food residues.
3. Food trays: Clean with warm water and
detergent or in the dishwasher.
To preserve the quality for as long as
possible, they should preferably be
rinsed by hand.
Allow stubborn dirt to soak beforehand.
4. Lids and Frame: Clean with warm
water and detergent.
5. Heating plate: Wipe with a soft, damp
cloth and a little detergent if necessary..
Do not clean in the dishwasher or
immerse in water! Then dry with a soft
cloth.
6. Before storing, dry all parts completely
or allow them to dry.
