3 System Introduction
3.1 System Overview
The residential smart inverter solution consists of inverter, battery system, smart meter, smart dongle, etc.. In
the PV system, solar energy can be convert to electric energy for household needs. The IoT devices in the
system controls the electrical equipment by recognizing the overall power consumption situation. So that the
power will be managed in a smart way, deciding whether the power is to be used by the loads, stored in
batteries, or exported to the grid, etc.
